Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Monkeytail Studios, LLC (“Breeze Market,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Breeze Market platform, websites, smart fridges, and related services (the “Service”). It applies to the people who buy through the Service (“Customers”) and the people who sell through it (“Vendors”), with a primary focus on protecting Customers.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Account and contact details — your mobile phone number (used for one-time-passcode sign-in), and for Vendors, business name, contact details, and team members.
- Order information — the items you buy or sell, order amounts, pickup locations, and timestamps.
- Communications — messages you send us and your SMS preferences.
- Vendor content — listings, descriptions, prices, and images Vendors upload.
1.2 Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Card numbers and full financial details are collected and stored by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy — we do not store full payment card numbers. For Vendors, payouts run through Stripe Connect, and Stripe collects identity and bank information needed to pay you and to meet legal requirements.
1.3 Information collected automatically
When you use the Service we automatically collect limited technical information such as device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions, using cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage.
1.4 Information from others
We receive information from service providers such as Stripe (payment and payout status) and Twilio (message delivery status), and from Vendors who process your orders.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- Verify accounts and process sign-in via SMS one-time passcodes;
- Process orders and payments, connect Customers with Vendors, and enable payouts;
- Send transactional messages — receipts, pickup and order updates, and security notices;
- Send marketing or broadcast messages where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security or technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. SMS and messaging
We send SMS through Twilio on two separate numbers. A transactional number sends account verification (login) codes, order receipts, and pickup updates — these are required to use the Service and to log in, and you consent to receive them at sign-in / checkout when you enter your mobile number and tap “Send verification code.” A separate marketing number sends recurring marketing texts — drop alerts, news, and special offers from the sellers you follow — which you receive only where you have opted in (for example, by following a seller or enabling marketing texts in your account). For full details of our messaging program, see our SMS Messaging Terms.
Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to the marketing number to opt out of promotional texts, or HELP for help. Opting out of marketing does not stop the transactional messages needed to operate your account and orders; because login codes are sent by SMS, opting out of transactional messages may prevent you from signing in. We do not sell your phone number, and SMS opt-in consent is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Between Customers and Vendors — to fulfill orders, a Vendor receives the order details needed to complete a sale. Vendors must use this information only to fulfill and support the order.
- Service providers — such as Stripe (payments and payouts), Twilio (messaging), Supabase (hosting and database), and other vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or Breeze Market.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and payment records may be retained longer where the law requires.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:
- Opt out of non-transactional SMS by replying STOP;
- Adjust cookie controls in your browser;
- Request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us at support@breezemarket.app.
We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. Note that some information must be retained for legal or operational reasons even after a deletion request.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access and relying on established providers like Stripe for payment data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International users
We operate in the United States, and your information will be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
